Luke 1:1-4, 5-66 Luke starts off his gospel by assuring us the we can be certain of the facts of his account. In fact the Bible is the reliable authority on the relational story of God's love for us. He then dives into the story of Jesus with a thorough, amazing account of the birth of John the Baptist, preparing the way for Jesus in the story just as John prepared the way for Jesus in life.
