Genesis 42-45
Sometimes God has to send a haymaker our way to get our attention and force us to change our ways. The famine that Canaan was suffering was God's way to get Jacob's family's attention and change their direction. He sometimes has to do the same for us.
Haymakers are those blows that usually lead to a knockout... not easy to get up from. We will all face them, but God is there with us. Joseph's life is a great example of how all of the ups and downs will still lead to the end that God has planned for us.
