1 Corinthians 11:23-29 Jesus commanded us to do two things as His followers: be baptized and partake of communion. Baptism celebrates our decision to follow Him, and communion helps us remember why we follow Him... His sacrifice as the final, perfect Passover lamb. When we come together as a community to celebrate these sacraments we are following Jesus' direct instructions to the church.
