INSIDE-OUT SERVICE
We will begin our morning by worshiping outside in front of the church. This is a GREAT way for our community to see us. May even feel compelled and more comfortable joining us for worship. It also helps us visually remind ourselves that God has placed us in this community to make disciples, to “Go, therefore” (Matt. 28) and share the gospel and make disciples with those around us. We will worship outside from 10:30 - 11:30 AM … then we will immediately break for lunch and begin setting up our trunks/games for the 2:00 PM Trunk or Treat Fall Festival.
WHAT IS TRUNK OR TREAT?
Trunk or Treat (Fall Festival) is a safe alternative to traditional Halloween festivities that encourages participation from the whole church body.
Picture our parking lot filled with cars, vans, trucks, and other vehicles, each decorated in a variety of fun themes. Then imagine the trunks filled with treats. That’s where the name “Trunk or Treat” comes from. Next, imagine another area filled with games and activities for kids and families to enjoy together. Now, picture hayrides and petting zoo for the kids to jump in or explore. Then every once in a while someone will announce the winner of a door prize or another exciting give-away! From babies on up to grandpas and grandmas, there will be something for everyone. It will be such a fun way to spend the evening as a family that those who live in our community will be asking if this is an annual event. Sound like fun?
