Acts 2: 36-37
We often say we want Jesus to be our Savior and Lord, but do we allow Him this access? When Peter explained who Jesus was to the Jews in attendance at Pentecost, they were immediately gripped with fear because they knew the possible outcome of offending God. God expects the same response from us.
Many times we feel confident in knowing what God's plan for us is when truly we are lucky if we have a basic grasp of a tiny part of God's timeless, interwoven, multi-faceted plan for humankind from creation throughout eternity. We need to begin to understand the view from God's perspective as He looks at us within His grand plan.
