In Kid’s Explosion at Eastwood we guide kids K-5th grade to develop a faith of their own through Bible Study, Worship and Relationships.  We use a curriculum that encourages kids to “treat others the way they want to be treated,” “make wise choices,” and “know they can trust God no matter what.” Each month we focus on a different virtue and examine what the Bible has to say about that virtue. Throughout the week we offer several opportunities for kids to worship, study God’s Word and build relationships. K-5th grades meet for Family Life Groups at 9:45 a.m. on Sundays and for Kid’s Explosion Worship on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8 p.m. We also offer Kid’s Worship for kids K-3rd grades during both Sunday morning Worship Services.

If you are new to Eastwood you can pre-register your child by filling out the following form and this ensures we have them in our system and there is no wait time of getting them set up.

The heroes of baseball are enshrined in the Hall of Fame, but as much as we might like baseball, we are way more interested that our kids learn about the “heroes of faith” described in Hebrews 11 – the “Hall of Faith.” That’s what IN THE BIG INNING is all about.

Believe it or not, in one song we talk about all 16 of the people who are singled out for their faith. That’s right – once your kids learn the song “By Faith,” they’ll be able to name all 16 of the “Hall of Faithers” of Hebrews 11! But that’s only the beginning. Our story starts “In the beginning” and goes all the way to what we call “The Big Inning” — that climactic moment in God’s big game plan when Christ won the game and secured for us the ultimate spiritual victory!

Below is a link to the health forms required for all campers and leaders going to Camp KidJam. Forms must be filled out and turned in by May 30th.

Just a few quick tips to make these work even better for everyone:

– make sure the files to be uploaded for the insurance cards and immunization records have the camp attendees name as the file name – in order to locate them quickly if needed

EVERYONE needs to have a separate form – all campers and all leaders

– we do NOT require you to have insurance but we do recommend it – most states will offer some form of short term insurance coverage for the week
