Brad Kirby
Senior Pastor
Brad is a father, husband, preacher, author, minister, and primarily, and most importantly a disciple of Jesus Christ. While born in South Carolina, he has lived the majority of his life in South Louisiana. Brad was called as Senior Pastor here at Eastwood in March 6, 2022.
He is a very proud graduate of Louisiana State University (B.A.) and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (MDIV) and has partially completed a doctoral degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Expository Preaching.
Brad is married to one of the godliest women on earth, Emily Kirby. They are the proud parents of a 14-year-old sweet pea named Reagan Olivia and a 9-year-old boy named Luke Bradford.
Brad has spent the last 24 years serving churches all across South Louisiana, Southeast Texas, South Florida, Northern Virginia, and now Northern Louisiana. For a season, God blessed him with a nationwide preaching ministry, partnering with churches and ministries all across the country, proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ.
His prayer is to see a generation of believers who are known for their biblical literacy, doctrinal integrity, and undeniable passion for Jesus Christ. Brad is dedicated to making disciples of Jesus, who make disciples of Jesus through faithful preaching, personal mentoring, biblical counseling, and with a heart to care for God’s church in His power.

Doug Baggett
Administrator/Next Steps Minister
Doug and his wife, Stephanie, have been members of Eastwood since 2015. Since then, they have served the church in many capacities. Currently Doug is the leader of the Journey Family Life Group, serves as a Deacon, and is always willing to lend a hand when woodworking is involved.
Doug and Stephanie have been married since 2002 and have two daughters, Anna and Mary Michael. Both Doug and Stephanie are originally from Alabama and are passionate Crimson Tide fans.
Doug was provided an internship opportunity here at Eastwood prior to retiring from the Air Force after 22 years. During that time, he was able to serve alongside the Staff of Eastwood and was put in charge of planning and leading a mission trip to aid hurricane victims in South Louisiana as well as other local outreach projects. His love for God and the people of Eastwood was made evident during that time. Doug was asked to come on board as the new Administrator of Eastwood. In addition to this responsibility, he will also be assuming the role of Next Steps Minister.
Leaonda Palmer
Nursery/Preschool Minister
Leaonda Palmer wears many hats at Eastwood. On Sundays she is the Nursery and Preschool Coordinator. During the week, Leaonda can also be found on the Eastwood Campus as the Director of Eastwood Childcare Center.
Leaonda has been involved with Children's Ministry for many years. She surrendered her life to full time ministry when she was 21 years old. Since then, Leaonda has been working full time in church daycares, children's ministry, and preschool ministry since she surrendered. Children are her passion! She loves sharing the story of Christ with them, and watching them grow into young men and women.
Leaonda does not ever serve alone, her entire family is involved as well, her husband of 19 years, David, and her four children, Erica, Darcie, Darla, and Drew. Whether it's through prayer, fixing things, encouragement, or loving on children with her, Leaonda's family does it ALL.
Allen Goodiwn
Student Pastor
Allen came to Eastwood as our Student Pastor in 2023. He is originally from Chatham, Louisiana, but spent most of his life in the West Monroe area. Before coming to Eastwood, Allen spent three years serving in Georgia in the Atlanta area. Allen is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe where he majored in History. He received his Master's Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Allen is married to his wonderful wife, Lark. Together they have three children: Annie James, John Calvin, and Russell Allen. They love being back in North Louisiana and have enjoyed making Haughton home. They are passionate about young people falling in love with Jesus and living for Him now.
The Goodwins love Walt Disney World, board games, and LSU Football.
