1 Peter 4:8 Peter reminds us in our passage today that "the end is near." We don't know when our last day on this earth will be, but instead of living sheltered in fear of death or living with reckless abandon, he tells us to live like Jesus... loving deeply through our prayers, actions, and words so that our community is strengthened and God is praised through us.
