“When you understand who God made you to be, then you'll understand what God made you to do.” SHAPE is an acronym that communicates five factors, which together direct you to the ministry God has uniquely planned for you: 

• Spiritual Gifts 

• Heart (Passion for service) 

• Abilities (Natural)

• Personality

• Experiences ​

 

​If you do not understand your SHAPE, you may find yourself doing things God never intended or designed you to do. 
 

How can | identify my SHAPE? 

 

An effective and fun way to identify your God given SHAPE is to participate in one of the regularly offered SHAPE short-term courses or workshops at EWBC. Check the Events page for the next scheduled SHAPE event. In the meantime, you can get a head start by completing an online spiritual gifts inventory. Go to https://gifts.churchgrowth.org/. Print out and bring your results to the SHAPE training event. Part of the SHAPE identification process will also be identifying a place or way to serve -which would be your next step.
