Eastwood Youth Group Goes Cyber
During this time of social distancing our youth group is staying connected! Family Life Groups are “ZOOMING” together on Wednesday nights AND Sunday mornings. We post the zoom ID numbers for each group on Remind, Instagram, Facebook and GroupMe. We are also watching a live streamed youth service on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm from www.youthgroupathome.com.
Camp Fuego Update – We will be postponing our Car Wash fundraiser that was supposed to be in April until June. We still have a waiting list for Middle School camp but High School camp did have a few spots come available. If you’d like to join please register and pay $50 deposit on our website.
6th Grade Passage – The Passage trip to San Antonio, Youth Parenting SNL and Purity Passage Getaway are going to be postponed. We will reschedule these events and let you know as soon as possible.
Graduating Seniors – We want to recognize you and celebrate your upcoming graduation. Senior recognition Sunday is planned to be on May 3 but of course that is subject to change. Please email 5 pictures from birth to graduation to email@example.com.
Follow us on Instagram, Facebook and Remind to keep up and stay connected. Don’t hesitate to text, call or email if you have any questions or need prayer.
Matthew 5:14a and 5:16 – “You are the light of the world…let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”
The students in GLOW are plugged in to God through His Word and their actions. We want to continue to help your student shine brighter than they ever knew they could and teach them the biblical truths that will allow them to bring glory to God for the rest of their lives!
Our Family Life Group strategy is our intentional discipleship strategy where small group leaders mentor students. They combine the information of scripture with relationships and life experiences to develop students into disciples who make disciples. Students are encouraged to mentor other students to as they do life together. Get plugged into a student Family Life Group today!

Glow Team Leadership is for 9th – 12th graders who want to become leaders in our youth group. Each August the Glow Team goes on a weekend retreat for personal spiritual growth and planning. There is a weekly planning meeting every Monday at 6:30pm in HizHouse for the Glow Team.
Students have the opportunity to meet weekly on Sundays at 6:00pm during the school year to sing. They learn truths about God and express those truth in worship through singing and drama.
All throughout the year students have opportunities to use their gifts to serve others: helping the elderly, VBS, poor and the homeless.
Technology is big for students! Students are trained to help with powerpoint, videography, and sound in the worship service. We believe students with a passion for technology need to use their gifts to help present the Good News to others. If you are interested in being a part of the Media Team, contact David Pratt.
