FAQ's

What time do your worship services begin on Sunday morning?
We have 2 services.  One begins at 9:30 a.m. and the other at 11:00 a.m.

What is the difference between the 2 services?
The 9:30 a.m. worship time consists of a blend of music that celebrates our heritage with a hint of the contemporary.  The 11:00 a.m. worship time consists of contemporary music utilizing a praise team and a full band. Attire for both services ranges from casual to business casual.

Is there something for my children while I attend worship?
Yes! We offer a children’s ministry for all children from birth to 3rd grade. We feel that those children 4th grade and up need to be in worship with their family. You can visit our guest welcome center on Sunday morning and someone will be happy to help you find the right place(s) for your children.

Where is the Guest Welcome Center?
You’ll find it located inside the main entrance, just outside of the auditorium. As you enter the first driveway, the first building you will come to is our auditorium. The Guest Welcome Center is located just inside the glass doors.

What else goes on at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.?
We offer small group Bible studies for all ages located across the Eastwood campus. Visit the Guest Welcome Center immediately following our services and someone will suggest some possible groups you can attend and show you where your children can attend.

If I choose to visit on Sunday, are you going to show up at my house Monday unannounced?
No! If you visit for the first time and give us your information, we will call you, email you, or send you a letter or postcard. We will not “just show up” at your home one evening expecting you to let us in to talk. When you attend a second or third time, we will try a little harder to get to know you.

How do I become a member of Eastwood?
The first Sunday of each month, we offer a class called 101: Connecting to Eastwood. Participation in this class is required for those wanting to become members of the church. In this class a staff member will answer a lot of your questions about who Eastwood is and what we are all about. At the conclusion of the class, you’ll have an opportunity to join the church.

I’ve got more questions.
We’re not afraid of questions. Simply call the church office at 949-9433 or email us at info@eastwoodbaptist.com  and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
