Psalm 139:13-16, 23-24
When we are upset with ourselves, it clouds all of behaviors and interactions. Like David, we all make mistakes, but we need to remember that God created us and will continue to work in and through us each and every day of our life to make us the person He has planned from before we were born. We can't compare ourselves to others because God's plan for each of us is different, and we must admit to our failures to God so the He can forgive us, cleanse us, and send us back out on our path.
On multiple occasions with the disciples were filled with fear and dread, Jesus came to them with a greeting of "peace" before anything else. If we can find Jesus in this hectic, distracted world, then we too will find "peace."
