Romans 5: 1-2
Having peace with God is more important than any of the other peace relationships we have discussed. Adam's sin caused us to be separated from God, but Jesus made a relationship with God possible again. Once we put our faith in Jesus, we receive God's grace and peace, but many people continue to try to go on their own, or they doubt the promise of eternal life. Failure in any of these areas means that we are not at peace with God, which should always be our goal.
On multiple occasions with the disciples were filled with fear and dread, Jesus came to them with a greeting of "peace" before anything else. If we can find Jesus in this hectic, distracted world, then we too will find "peace."
