Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12
Like travelers in a strange land, Solomon reminds us that God's people need to work together to help when the road is rough, to provide comfort when the night is long, and to protect each other in this hostile world.
Ecclesiastes 4: 12 tells us that a cord of three strands is not quickly broken. While often cited in marriage ceremonies, the verse actually addresses the lives of God's people and how they should support and build up one another, which is a picture of the role played by the Family Life Groups of Eastwood Baptist Church.
