Much like the "life-saving station" in the story, the church today can get too focused on itself and lose the real purpose God set out for it... seeking and saving the lost. If we are following the Jesus Way, we will be going out, doing ministry, and sharing the gospel message to everyone in our home, at work, in our neighborhood, in Haughton, in Bossier Parish, etc.
Jesus told us what the most important thing is... making disciples... bringing people to know him. But first, we have to know him and let that love and knowledge overflow to the people we encounter every day. This is "the Jesus way."
